Facebook users on Android devices, listen up! There's a new version of the client for your phone ready to download from the Google Play Store. The new build number is 1.9 and it aims to further improve the user experience.

There are performance improvements and various bug fixes included as well as more messaging features (like creating group messages and adding friends to existing group conversations) alongside shortcuts to share photos and messages right from your home screen. The new versions seems more stable and slightly faster, not sure if the additional camera and messenger apps were necessary though.
